Learning to weave traditional French hachures is challenging and definitely not for beginners. We were very fortunate to have Mary Lane teach a five-day workshop this August for us.
She did a fantastic job of explaining and helping each weaver with her hachure project. Everyone learned a lot.
In fact, we were concentrating so hard that often it was quiet enough to hear a pin drop! This is not a technique that can be mastered in five days, but Mary got everyone off to a solid start.
