Description
Description: Inspired by both process and materials, Fiona Hutchison’s work is an exploration of materials and making. Tapestry is her first love, but she is often inspired by unusual materials or processes. By combining discarded and undervalued materials with the traditional woven tapestry, she hopes we will reconsider the value/beauty of what we use and throw away. In this illustrated talk she will lead us through her creative journey, where she finds inspiration and how it is developed into a finished work. VIDEO ONLY
