Look what weavers learned to make!
Basket making was a new offering. This summer’s programming included 2 basket weaving workshops with Diane Shingledecker: Making a Paper Painted Tote, a wooden based reed and cane tote with leather handles, and Leather Handled Basket Tray.
Weaving bands on an inkle loom is a speciality of Phoebe McAfee’s. Our summer programming included her popular Inkle Loom Basics workshop.
Did you know you could use a cardboard box as a loom? Back to due popular demand, Terry Olson taught Weaving a Bag around a Box this summer.
