Since 2005, Kiki Dembrow’s passion has been tapestry. Weaving has become the means by which Kiki explores the interplay of ideas, images, and colors that resonate for her and how to translate them into the language of tapestry.
Kiki’s practice includes an on-going study of different techniques from different weaving traditions. One technique of special interest to her is raised outline. Since 2017, she has offered workshops and classes on using raised outline in tapestry. She is a founding member of Willamette Tapestry Artists (WTA), and is currently President on the Damascus Fiber Arts Board.
This gallery shows a few of her tapestries.
